Reflex produce and deliver non-formal education programmes that empower young people to rediscover a love of learning and fulfil their potential.
Underachievement in education has been identified as one of the major factors leading to offending behaviour in young people. We believe that developing relevant programmes that engage young people with education is essential. Reflex deliver programmes that provide a creative platform to explore learning and reflect on life experiences. Each programme has been specifically chosen because of its ability to relate to and engage with young people.
Our non-formal education programmes are mapped into multiple frameworks to offer young people the opportunity to achieve up to 60 hours of accredited engagement, helping them reconnect with education and increase their numeracy and literacy skills.
“The involvement with Reflex has had a positive effect upon all those involved. The projects over the last year have included music, drama, sound recording and performances. The young people have been enthusiastic in all the elements of each project they engaged in. They have all developed new skills, increased personal confidence and been awarded with nationally recognised accreditation, as well as gaining peer acknowledgement and encouragement”.
