GEOFF BAXTER OBE

Geoff began working with young people in custody in 1995. As an outreach worker he carried out relational projects and set up a youth club inside HMP & YOI Castington.

His vision to empower and equip young people with the skills and confidence they would need to succeed in life led him to develop a radio station in the prison. Geoff went on to pioneer a innovative Media course and a Music Production programme, which gave rise to an album composed and recorded by the young people.

This was the beginning of Reflex…

Having founded Reflex in the North East, Geoff began replicating this successful model, transferring the principles and programmes into the NorthWest and expanding into other regions through a national management structure. With over a decade’s experience delivering Outreach and Creative Accredited Programmes, Geoff’s leadership established Reflex as one of the foremost organisations working with young people within the Criminal Justice System.

In 2011, Geoff was awarded an OBE in recognition of his services to youth justice and the success of Reflex.

Geoff now heads up RPUK
