Caring for Ex-offenders

Caring for Ex-offenders’ vision is to reduce reoffending by reintegrating ex-offenders into society through the local church.

Reflex work in partnership with Caring for Ex-Offenders (CFEO). Our Outreach workers and Mentor Coordinators refer young people to CFEO who match them with a trained volunteer living in the area where the young person is being resettled.

Integrating into a community after time spent in prison can be a daunting challenge, and every individual requires a different support plan. Local Caring for Ex-Offender teams comprise mentors, befrienders and practical helpers, who empower young prison leavers through one-to-one support and signpost them to help with housing, employment, education, recovery from addictions, family relationships, healthcare, and debt and benefits advice.
