BAME Specific Courses

CARL is a Reflex Programme designed specifically for young black males.

C.A.R.L. stands for Control Action Reverse the Learning.

This programme is a unique and innovative accredited programme specifically designed to tackle current social trends among black males. The aim of the programme is to connect with black males whose cognitive distortions have caused problems that has affected their ability to deal with difficult and high risk situations.

CARL is a 16 sessions, NCFE accredited course. Sessions are delivered twice per week over 8 weeks. The content of each session raises an awareness of self and others in relation to perceived ideas that have caused barriers to change.
